Cricut Cardz Challenge #75/Challenge 15 "Masculine Cuts"

The challenge for this week is to make a masculine birthday card using something
with wheels, and any colors or cartridges you'd like. http://cricutcardzchallenge.blogspot.com/

and for the Challenge 15 "Masculine Cuts" over at http://diecuttindivas.blogspot.com/

Ok So I made this card using the Fathers Day Cricut Cartridge.
Cuts: The motorcycle(forgot how big ) and the word "cool" (4").
Just used a simple blue for the base and the embossed foil is a piece of reynolds wrap (the ones that are individually for tacos) embossed w/ my cuttlebug. It took quite well I was impressed.
I did two types the 1st card is for challenge #75 making it a Happy Birthday card !
and below the 2nd card I changed up only a little bit to make it a Fathers Day Card. I used my 1" hole puncher and a stamp that was the perfect fit for the wheel to make it a Fathers Day Card. I also in the 2nd one used Tim Holtz Glossy Accents to make the gray shine. Everything else is the same.

I really like how this card came out and the foil embossed. Thanks for stopping by !!! I love the fathers day cartridge !!!

Creative Sisters Monday Challenge #8

Here is a birthday card that I made for my neighbors 8 yr old daughter.
I am entering this in the Creative sisters Monday Challenge #8 which you can find here http://lindascreativity.blogspot.com/2011/05/creative-sisters-monday-challenge-8.html
Challenge is anything b-day theme.

The image is the favor from the Sweet Treats cartridge and I just love it!!! I don't remember how big I cut it maybe about 3" or so. I used Martha Stewart glitter pens to go over the yellow red and blue streamers because it looked plain before that. Thanks for coming by and taking a peek.

Animal Card Challenge

I just made this card for the Animal Card Challenge found here http://queenofmycraftroom.blogspot.com/2011/05/animal-card-challenge-week-of-may-17th.html

I used Nifty Fifties cricut cartridge cut the cat and the blue background at 4".
The words cool cat were cut at 1" (I think)
and I used a stamp that I had CELEBRATE fr Michaels dont know the name of the set.
I figured this could be a b-day card or any celebration that somebody might have. Kept it simple I suppose but I really had a hard time with this cat being that I don't care for cats too much lol (more of a dog lover) but Im pleased with the outcome.
Thanks for stopping by !!!!
